HM Revenue & Customs has published its quarterly statistics showing amounts raised under the EIS and SEIS, and they show increases in the investments being made.

Newly published statistics reveal that the amount of investment in Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) companies has grown substantially in recent years.
Finance Bill Summer 2015
The Summer Finance Bill was published on 15 July 2015. It includes a number of changes to the EIS and VCT rules, mainly to bring the legislation into line with the EU State Aid Risk Finance Guidelines which were revised last year. Further details can be found at EIS Summary and VCT Summary.
Second Budget 2015
The Budget statement of 8 July announced significant changes to the venture capital tax relief schemes. These are principally designed to ensure continuing compliance with the State aid requirements. A note of the changes is attached here.
